Mediatek is more famous as a supplier of cheap mobile processor

high-end chip products crafted by Qualcomm and Samsung.
As summarized from GSMArena, Wednesday (04/01/2015), the Taiwanese manufacturer this week introduced a family of new high-end chip named Helio who predicted a contender series Snapdragon chip 800 and the Exynos crafted two rivals.
"Helio is a premium mobile processor family that integrates heterogeneous computing technology with advanced multimedia innovation," said a statement released by MediaTek.
With Helio, image processor MediaTek as the brain of the lower classes of mobile phones will soon be erased.
Debut Helio family will begin with a model first named X10 which is a series of chip 64-bit-based high-end eight-core ARM Cortex-A53.
X10 core speed pegged at the rate of 2.2 GHz. Power octa-core chip is claimed sangup realize screen refresh rate of 120 Hz and 480 speed slow motion video FPS.
X10 will be followed later models named Helio-P series are referred to as "premium performance chips".
