Tips to Find the Lost Smartphone with 'Find My Phone'

Google introduced a simple feature to find your lost Android smartphone. Feature called the find my phone can be activated easily by the user on his smartphone.

Reported Ghacks pages, Monday (04/20/2015), to activate the find my iPhone, users only need to type the phrase 'find my phone' on Google search. Before enabling the feature, users are required to enter or log in to his Google account.

Apart from having to log this, the function of location on a smartphone should also be active if the user wants to use the find my phone to track the lost smartphone. If the location function is not enabled, the phone is lost it will not be able to turn on a 'ring' to track the whereabouts.

If the location on the smartphone is already active, the function ring will send commands to the smartphone for rings with a maximum volume for five minutes. Surely it would be very useful to find the location of your smartphone tucked.

Features find my phone will also work if the internet service on smartphones work. No matter WiFi or mobile data users switch on the device, both will work equally well.

Unfortunately, find my phone is only able to track the lost smartphone maximally up to a radius of 50 meters. In contrast to feature Android Device Manager, users can not lock the device or wipe a lost device with features find my phone.

Find my phone is a feature that is ideal for users forgot to put the situation of his smartphone and need to find quickly. However, it seems to find my phone is not too useful for smartphone stolen.
